Chaos Magick: Belief as a Recursive Technology

The Tech of Belief
In Chaos Magick✦, you don't believe in a god because they are "real" in an objective sense. You believe in a god because that belief produces a specific psychological or external result. It is, quite literally, a "Paradigm Shift" used as a technology.
This mirrors the postmodern honesty of "Fake it till you make it." In tech startups, we call it "manifesting a roadmap"Sigils✦haping the narrative." We create a belief (the Vision) and then work backwards to make reality conform to it.

Sigils and Logos
Grant Morrison, the legendary comic book writer and chaos magician, describes sigils as "memes that work." By condensing a desire into a graphic symbol and "charging" it through a state of gnosis, the magician bypasses the conscious mind and speaks directly to the subconscious.
How different is this from a multi-billion dollar brand's logo? A logo is a sigil designed to trigger a specific set of emotional and behavioral responses across millions of people. Silicon Valley is the greatest sigil-factory in human history.

The A/B Test of the Soul
The Chaos Magician treats their own worldview like an A/B test. If believing in a specific paradigm (say, Stoicism or Hyper-individualism) isn't getting results, they "uninstall" it and try another. It is the ultimate expression of spiritual autonomy: you are the admin of your own reality.
